What is DHI technique?
The DHI transplant (Direct Hair Implantation) is a hair transplant technique that uses a pen called CHOI. In reality, this is an advance over the FUE technique:
The FUE technique requires opening channels with a micro blade and then implanting the graft into the created channels with precision forceps. With the DHI technique, there is no need to make canal openings because the Pen has been studied to pierce the scalp directly and inject the graft in one go.
The intervention is longer than the FUE technique because it requires more thoroughness (it takes between 8 and 10 hours) but allows better healing and greater density.
